keep the corners of the world with their silky fringes
pound the shaman’s drum
outline the souls’ journey back home
the dream sisters catch me
when I fall
stretch out their arms
hum consolations
put their arms around my aching shoulders
weave a web of golden hair
for shelter
their soft singing
creeps into my body’s cells
flies my soul off to the sunny peak
kindles my boldness
the dream sisters save my life
with their lively songs
their cheerful humming
itching pleasures urge up my back
to the neck and little brain
wake up my nerves

las cuatro hermanas de sueño
mantienen los rincones del mundo con sus bordes sedosos
percuten el tambor del chamán
esbozan el viaje de las almas de regreso a casa
las hermanas de sueño me reciben
cuando caigo
extienden sus brazos
murmuran consuelos
abrazan mis hombros adoloridos
tejen una red de cabello dorado
como refugio
su canto suave
penetra las células de mi cuerpo
vuela mi alma a la cima soleada
enciende mi atrevimiento
las hermanas de sueño salvan mi vida
con sus canciones divertidas
su alegre murmullo
